Robbie Keane Shock Villa Link!!! Press Talk

Robbie Keane Shock Villa Link!!! Press Talk

BORING.... Had enough of these after ten years of the same link! Yup, the Robbie Keane to Villa rumour is back. The Daily Mail say we`ll bid £6million for him in January. He has also been linked to a move to the MLS in America as well as a return to Celtic where he joined a fruitful loan period.

IMScouting claim that Villa are interested in 19-year-old Swedish IFK Goteborg striker Robin Soder who is also wanted by AC Milan and Genoa.

A gossip site says that Manchester United want Villa defender (or will he become a midfielder permanently?) Ciaran Clarke. I can see little substance to the 'rumour` or any other source claiming this so I think we`ll swiftly move on. Seems to be the same site each time that says these things - they never happen. Anyway, if they want him, they`ll have to pay £80million, that would be good business (sorry Eltoro, couldn`t resist!)

Meanwhile the Mirror say that Stephen Ireland`s representatives will meet club officials to thrash out his future.

keane would be good at villa as he would get good service and has a record of scoreing and thats what we want. Ireland can do 1 dont really care if he has performed well on 1 of the many games he has played in. would love to see Benzema at villa on loan as was mentioned on sky sports news site.

Can we please have a proven striker in his mid twenties, not some over the hill journeyman? Is it too much to ask? Imagine if we had a 20+ goal a season top grade striker? He would be elevated to near God status.
