Villa Press Transfer Talk. Striker In/£80m Price!

The Daily Mail have an article saying Villa boss Gerard Houllier has put a £80million price tag on the head ... or is it the feet?... of Ashley Young in the January transfer window.

Apparently both Liverpool and Manchester United are interested. Spurs have already been linked about 3000 times.

Young, as you know, has put contract talks on hold to concentrate on his football with just 18 months left on his current deal.

Villa assistant manager Gary McAllister was watching Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor in Champions League action against Manchester United on Wednesday night. That bit at least I believe to be true as I heard it from a very good source!
