James Collins Blackburn Doubt

James Collins has emerged as a doubt for this weekends clash against Blackburn as he's suffered a calf injury.

Gerard Houllier will make the decision tomorrow on whether or not to include him in the squad, but has stressed he won't be taking any risks with the Welshman.

It's another bumper injury list for Rovers with Petrov, Reo-Coker, Heskey, Carew, Sidwell, Cuellar and Beye all confirmed as out for this clash but as far as good news goes, Gabby, Dunne and Clark should be well enough to be included.

Speaking on the Official Site with a mini run down of where players are with their injuries, Houllier said:

'Sidwell is back from an operation on his achilles. He should be fine maybe for Christmas. Reo-Coker will be the first one to be fit ahead of Petrov.

'Carew is working on his fitness, and Heskey, after his operation, is spending quite a lot of time in the gym and doing rehabilitation as well.

'Cuellar will need another week.'

All these injuries can't be a coincidence - something must be happening down at Bodymoor Heath that causing them.
