Fabian Delph Aiming For January Comeback

Small update on the OFFICIAL SITE over midfielder Fabian Delph.

The tough tackler is making good progress and is currently in the USA in a bid to help his revovery.

Assistant manager Gary McAllister is hoping Delph will be fit for January.

He said: 'He is doing fantastically well. He's gone over to the States to break his rehab up and he's done more training with a specialist over there just to break up the routine. It's been a long time out for him so he's had five or six days over there and then he'll be back."

He also says there is no doubt that Delph is talented and was consulted by Villa when we looked to sign him.

The tough news keeps on a' coming, what with this latest update on young Fabian Delph. After a pretty dispiriting and disheartening summer, the bright clouds are slowly starting to reappear over delightful Brummagem B6. The youngsters are starting to bring a buzz back into the grand old stadium, an extra body arrives in the shape of the experienced and highly talented Bobby Pires, and now we hear encouraging news about young Fabian. With Gary Gardner also on the comeback trail, the club is well and truly getting back on track. Man it's great to be a claret and blue brummie. Could life be any better?

And on that point Zarch I will very definitely moan and moan along with you. Stewart's absence from Capello's latest England squad was little short of a disgraceful oversight, for which Fabio needs shooting (well, maybe not quite). The really baffling part is that our Italian friend was at Brummagem B6 last Saturday lunchtime, when he would have witnessed first hand, Stewart's outstanding performance against Manchester United. All very strange.

The Downing situation was/is ridiculous. I was a massive critic of SD last season, but having a full pre-season seems to have done him wonders. Seeing as Capello was using the game to give non-established internationals a chance it's just baffling.

Fabio has lost the plot - long balls to Crouch are a disgrace and Stu should have made it easily
