NRC - Money Or Top Club? Bannan Driving Shocker!

James Nursey at The Mirror has a brief report today saying that Nigel Hokey-Cokey will hold out until the summer in order to try to get a 'bumper deal` from Villa.

Apparently NRC is willing to stay at Villa but wants to have his contract in line with the other big earners. It was reported last week that Reo-Coker had already turned down one deal and negotiations are continuing.

All up to him really, there isn`t a bigger club out there for him is there? Is it about money or is it about being at a top club? Up to the player.

Another little snippet made me laugh... Also in The Mirror, Villa youngster Barry Bannan said he was more nervous of taking his driving test last week than he was facing Manchester United. Like it, good bit of confidence!

The 20-year-old midfielder told James Nursey that his driving test didn`t go well! He failed. DOH! "I had one major fault, I just couldn`t get the car to parallel park. I was definitely more nervous ahead of my driving test than playing against Manchester United. I never get nervous on a football pitch."

He also says of the young players: "A few of the younger boys have shown how good they really are. We showed here we can handle it against the best players in the league."

Hope its not true about NRC, but would explain why everyone else seems to be signing except him. Nige if the ESP is working mate, do yourself a favour and sign a contract.

I've never been more nervous than before I took my driving test. It's a big deal. Independence is everything. ;)
