Aston Villa Press Transfer Talk

Aston Villa Press Transfer Talk

Not that much good gossip about still, maybe tomorrow the Sunday press will give us a treat or two with made up links to excite and/or anger us!?

Anyway, the only bit I can see today is in The Sportsmail who are linking us and a 'clutch of clubs` to former Sheffield United midfielder Kazim Richards who is currently with Turkish side Fenerbahce.

The midfielder is out of contract in the summer so can speak to clubs outside of Turkey in January.

Yesterday we were linked with yet another Lyon player and I sort of lost the will to live... well, the will to publish it as a story anyway!

Hey ho, apparently Villa are after a Cameroon ace and Lyon midfielder Jean Makoun...! Click Here. Apparently the 27-year-old is looking to move due to an 'uneasy` relationship with the Lyon Fans. He told L'Equipe 'I'm not going to complain, but i think the next transfer window (to look to depart).'

www.insidefutbol.com say he is a tough tackling defensive midfielder bought for 14M euros. they also claim he is 'highly rated` by Gerard Houllier and is his transfer priority.

So far we have:
