Carlos Cuellar Out For 10-15 Days

Taken from Carlos Cuellars' official facebook page:

'Carlos Cuellar, is injured and will be out between ten and fifteen days because a micro tear in the calf of his left leg.'

'The center (half) was injured in a time of training on Tuesday when an action of an exercise notice a puncture in the leg, forcing him to stop.'

Adding,

'This is the second injury that the player has suffered this season. He lost the final of the preseason and the season opener with his team because other fibrillar problem suffered in the Guadiana Cup'

Ouch, another one drops!

oh dear - shame he may have been recalled to start up front for us against United!! Why has it 43000 villa fans have known we needed to sign a striker for 3 seasons and yet Villa haven't? Amazes me.

i'm not suggesting anything ......but how many players have we now lost to training ground incidents? is it perhaps that our players have a tall ask compared top what they're used or is it something that is being done that is resulting in all these injuries. This weekend we're up against Man Utd and apart form Gabby coming back, we have a very inexperienced midfield coming up against a very experienced one ..... Upfront, where's Heskey when u need him !! Positives from Blackpool game.... Luke Young's ability to get forward Ash running for the full 95 minutes...gave it his all Bannan's ability to break things up in the middle of the park
