Davies Extends Foxes Loan

Curtis Davies has extended his loan spell at Leicester City until January.

Davies has been in impressive form for the Foxes since joining them on a one month loan and he spoke the other week about hopefully being able to extend the deal until at least January, and the club have been happy to oblige.

Commenting on Leicester's official site, Davies said:

'I am really enjoying my football, it is great to be playing regularly again and I am grateful to Aston Villa for allowing me to extend my deal.'

We wait to see if Sven has plans to take him on a permanent deal in January, but with the emergence of Ciaran Clark it's certainly looking likely at the moment.

Makes sense, although with injuries now really starting to hit us hard, wouldn't be overly surprised to see him back at Villa Park sooner than expected. Anyone heard or read anything that would indicate how he's doing over at Leicester City?
