Former Real Madrid & Newcastle Scout To Villa?

The People today have announced that Gerard Houllier is hiring former Newcastle United scout Jeff Vetere to the Villa ranks.

Vetere was part of the 'Cockney Mafia` which went down like a lead balloon on the Toon but isn`t all bad judging by info pulled up by Vital member he`sbiggerthanmeandyou.

He`s worked at Charlton, West Ham and Real Madrid. Be interesting to know which gems he uncovered for Newcastle United wouldn`t it?

A scout at Villa that can search for quality players abroad? Foreign players to join the Villa? The world has gone mad! Our scouts under MON were so bad they couldn't discover a passport never mind a foreign player! Great news this!

Oh, I know that, just couldn't help responding to the subject of who would we have from the Newcastle squad, I've no idea who this particular scout did bring in, but Newcastle do have some good foreign players like Jose Enrique
