John Carew Off To Italy? Villa Speculation

I hate international breaks, everything goes so quiet Villa wise and to be fair, I'm becoming more and more centric as I progress through life (polite way of saying as I get older!)

Anyway, one snippet in The Daily Star by John Percy says that both Fiorentina and Sampdoria are interested in signing Villa striker John Carew who as you know is available to leave on a free this summer.

Carew can talk to other clubs from January and this report says the 31-year-old, who has been shipped out by Houllier once whilst at Lyon, isn't in the new managers plans.

The Star say that the player might actually leave in January which might make sense as Villa can command a small fee for him then, but would JC want to go then or wait for a bigger pay day in the summer?

i really like carew and dont want him to leave but i think its for the best as he is jus faaar too laid back and doesnt fufill his true potential no where near as much as he should be

haha funny shizzle Villa b. I can just see it though if he joins a Fulham or even a Spurs (you know Harry loves a free) - he will start playing like Pele
