Marc Albrighton and Luke Young have hailed the impact of Gerard Houllier in kick starting Reo-Coker's season.
Speaking on the Official Site Marc Albie Albrighton used cliches like a 'new lease of life' and 'reborn' to describe the changing fortunes of Reo-Coker and he couldn't be more pleased given how the player has slotted into midfield and helped shore us up a touch.
'I thnik he had a couple of season where he wasn't enjoying his football but the gaffer now has given him a new lease of life.
'At Tottenham he was absolutely fantastic, he didn't put a foot wrong. So hopefully he'll be reborn again and be a great player for us.'
Albie explains that Reo has consistently been putting in those types of performances in training, and that he thinks opposition players don't fancy playing against him because of his work rate and determination in getting the ball back.
Luke Young was also full of praise for the midfielder and believes he'll be even better once he gets his fitness levels up properly given he had such a spell on the sidelines.
'The way he played at Spurs, that's his game, he's done brilliantly for us breaking things up, bursting with the ball and giving it to someone else.
'If he can get himself up to the fitness levels he's been at before then he'll be a great player for us.'
It certainly appears all the players have been given a clean sheet under Houllier and for the most part they are certainly responding.
Whether Houllier sees NRC in his vision for us or not we'll find out if a new contract is offered, but you'd be very surprised if one wasn't if Hokey Cokey can continue to put in those sorts of performances.
