'If It's Football, It's Vital'

More Fixture Changes

Liverpool, Spurs and Chelsea all changed by the sensible folks at Sky Sports so they can screen them.

Gerard Houllier's return to relegation threatened Liverpool is now to take place on Monday December 6th with a lovely 8pm kick off.

Our Boxing Day home clash against Spurs (the revenge mission) will now kick off at 5.30pm.

Finally the away clash against Chelsea will now not take place on New Day's Day but will instead kick off at 1.30pm on January 2nd.

Am I allowed to say 'Bloody Sodding Hell'!!! It really ticks me off. Catering to the armchair bods, and not giving a moments thought to those of us who are actually getting off of our backsides and attending the games. Changing the date/time of the Chelsea and Liverpool games is particularly annoying.

killing football as a live sport, they wont be happy until everyone has 50inch 3d tvs they can flog the games to at ever increasing prices

Boxin Day at 5.30 sucks....no thought for the fans.....couldnt Villa have said no to this?

I'd arranged a weekend in Liverpool for the wife's birthday on the 4th, now I can't see the game as I'll be in Dublin and will get dragged round the bloody shops instead!

Thankyou voiceoftheholte. I couldn't have expressed my response to couch-potato Curfish any better, if I had spent all day working on it.

Actually voiceoftheholte i only used the term couch potatoe as thats the term glensider used and i was using it sarcastically. I dont think you have the right to say im not a villa fan because i watch sky!! some how from my statemants you believe i dont spend money on merchandise or go to any games what so ever!! I go to see the villa once or twice a season, i buy a shirt every season and i did the villa park tour recently for my 30th birthday. I can see that a good majority of villa fans on this site on class someone as a fan if they have a season ticket and go to every away game whilst chanting "on the ***** me lord" If anyone says to me they are a villa fan then thats good enough, you lot seem to think its some form of membership and you only qualify if you wearing officially mercendised pants! My point which you seem to have blatently missed is why is it a bad thing that sky has rearranged dates so villa are on TV more over the xmas period. It seems to have messed up some peoples plans but It really shows what small minded people you are that after making a comment which i thought was fair gets personally attacked.
