Free Half Term Training Session

Villa Park will again be opening it's doors to the masses so fans can see Gerard Houllier putting the team through its paces.

The special open training session will take place on October 25th as the team gear up for the Carling Cup clash against Burnley on the Wednesday evening.

Turnstiles will open at 9.15am and there will be a host of activities going on throughout the morning including offers on merchandise and a few competitions plus a biggy where you can win the chance to take a penalty against Mr Kicksave himself, Brad Guzan. (more details to follow on that)

Entry is obviously free for the training event, but you do need to ring 0800 612 0970 and claim your free ticket given the club had 11,000 odd turn up last time.

If you want to extend the day you can get a two course meal in the Trinity Suite from middday and there will be a funzone in the 82 Lounge where the club mascots will be in attendance along with face painters and balloon modellers for the kiddies.

Tickets for the 'extra time + meal' event are available on the above number and are 10 adults, 7.50 kiddies, 3.50 under 5's and free for under 2's.

The club also kindly asked attendees to not park in the streets around the ground but to use either public transport or to park free of charge in the Aston Arena Car Park (formerly Aston Events Centre) in Aston Hall Road - B6 7LB - or alternatively in the Brookvale Road Car Park - B6 7DS.

This is something I really applaud. It gives the younger Villans in particular, the opportunity to get closer to the players, and in this day and age, that has to be a very good thing. Well done AVFC.

Spot on voiceoftheholte. Once the Villa bug bites, they will be hooked. Top marks to our merchandising people.
