Houllier To Use Rotation And Tactics.. WOW!

Villa boss Gerard Houllier has spoken to the Official Site reminding the players that this is a team game and that he will be using the squad.

WOW.

What a radical idea..rotation and tactics. It'll never catch on!

forum

He explains 'You may miss out this weekend and be the hero next time.' Adding, 'The best XI is the one I play every week. It can be different next week. It depends on many factors. I don't have XI players. I have a squad of players. We have a squad of 20 to 25 players so not everyone is involved every week. In football we know we need everybody and everyone contributes to the final success.'

Music to the ears that.

He also says he expects an 'offensive' game from Spurs. I'll give them bloody offensive if we lose, I'm in meetings half of next week with Spurs fans!!!!!!!!

'I was impressed by their offensive talent in the game against Twente. I went down to see them but at the same time we have good players who can score goals. It will be, I would say, an entertaining game.'

well hes swapped dunne for carlos, which im quite shocked about as thought he a good game last sunday. as seen the line up will admit not that confident as dont think our midfield can outplay theirs. just hope im wrong. just make sure the wingers keep forward and drive them back!!

We have Carlos on the bench, fear not b73. If we need his superman attitude I'm sure he'll come on.
