Burnley And A Book Signing

Villa's cup clash against Burnley has had the date confirmed, and Ian Taylor will be signing copies of 'Aston Villa - A Complete Record'.

Not really big enough to publish on their own, so even though they are completely unrelated I've stuck them together so you can all have an extra 30 seconds of productivity at work by not having to read them separately.

The Carling Cup 4th round tie against Burnley will take place on Wednesday October 27, and will kick off at 7.45pm.

Ticket news will follow.

This Thursday (4pm) fans can meet and greet club Legend Ian Taylor at the Villa Village store as he'll be signing copies of the new 608 page book - 'Aston Villa - A Complete Record' - which charts the clubs history from 1874 until the end of last season.

The book costs £25 normally but the nice people at Vital Villa have two copies to give away and as luck would have it, the closing date isn't for another couple of days - well be honest, it would be a little silly to direct you nice folks to a competition that had already closed wouldn't it.

Good to have a home draw, good to have some midweek floodlit action at Villa Park. I know that evening games aren't everyone's cup of tea, but personally I enjoy footie under the Villa Park lights. Breaks the working week up nicely.
