January Transfer Talk Already For Villa!

Ha, the second bit of transfer gossip since Gerard Houllier became Villa boss. The first being the link to Michael Owen.

Well, today I can exclusively reveal that The People are exclusively revealing two January targets.

The first Panathinaikos striker Djibril Cisse who is said to be rated at around £6million.

The other is Real Madrid's defensive midfielder Fernando Gago who apparently would be a loan target.

He would apparently also like 19-year-old Atletico Madrid keeper David De Gea who is also wanted by Manchester United.

The same report says that Steve Sidwell, who is out of contract next summer, is attracting interest from Werder Bremen and Wolfsburg.

So far we have:

IN:

Michael Owen to Villa on loan or a nominal fee: Click Here
Fernando Gago
Djibril Cisse

OUT:

Steve Sidwell to Werder Bremen or Wolfsburg

cisse is a no, he would unbalance our team, because he would keep scoring and thats not what we're about.

same with owen, i can't keep jumping up and down for 90 mins, i've got into a nice rhythm, drive from dorset 3 hours (seated) walk short distance to the holte ( upper) sit down (90mins) drive back to dorset 3 hours (seated) go to bed (prone) i cant change my life just like that!

Shay Given and 9 strikers please.

Gago would be interesting. Not sure about Cisse though.

laugh@eltoro.... brilliant comments........ got me chuckling! I think there is going to be heaps of transfer gossip now Houlier is in charge. He bought, loaned or swapped loads of players in his time for good and bad. His teams play very differently to MON's style, so he has a few months to see who can adapt, and then start kicking some out and bringing some in and making his mark! I guess it maybe a bit of a roller coaster rid for a while to come.... lets just enjoy it! It stands to be anything but boring!
