Houllier Looking To Bring Back The Fight
The Official site have an interview with Gerard Houllier who has again said that winning is the first priority, entertainment comes next.
The Villa boss says he wants to see Villa get a bit of 'bite' ... something some of us have been on about for a while. We are too 'nice' which is all well and good but with a bit more fight we could really get going and that might also spark the fans into a bit more vocal support as we'd have somethign to get out teeth into... gerrit... bite? Teeth? Oh sod it, my comic genius is wasted here!
'The image is that it's a nice club. We want to be a winning club. nice, winning club.' He also says we are liked and viewed well in Europe and he's not spoken to anyone who has a bad word to say against Villa adding 'Maybe what the club needs is more ambition, more biting teeth. When you are a good club everything is fine, the comfort is there. What we need to do is get out of this comfort zone a bit more and get the results.'

not a great start at half time for GH, almost glad I had to work late and miss it - perhaps he'll make use of the substitutes - or is there a rule in the changing room that must be obeyed about not using subs as Villa boss??
