'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Vital Villa Poll Results AND A New Poll!

Last time out you were asked about the result of the Bolton game, and the results show that the vast majority of you were 100% wrong.

After a reasonably dull 1-1 draw with Owen Coyle`s men, lets see how your views weighed up against reality?

84% suggested that the Villans would win in Kevin Mac`s last game in charge. How wrong you all were.

5% rightly decided that it would be a Villa Park stalemate.

11% worryingly thought that we`d lose against such a terrible team.

Now, onto the new poll. Well it`s quite a simple one. Who was your man of the match? If it was my choice I`d only put Brad Friedel and Luke Young as options, but I`m not sure that Monsieur Fear would accept that, so everyone that played is listed!

I sent a txt to the new boss about my poll, he sent me a pic msg bk!

Brad Friedel apart, I thought that the rest of the lads were much of a muchness, not much to choose between them. Certainly Brad's late super-save from that Matty Taylor free kick ensured that we finished the game with a point, and if only some of the other players had reached his level of performance, then maybe we might have scraped all three points on offer. Bolton deserved their draw however, you cant take that away from them. They certainly looked the team more likelier to score as the game progressed. Yes, Brad Friedel for me as 'Man of the disappointing Match'.

You're right about Luke Young murph. He surprisingly has his critics amongst the VP crowd, but I think he's a very capable right full back, one of the very best in the top flight.
