Club 'Hugely Disappointed' In Kit Delay


General Krulak has explained how disappointed the Club are at the production faults in the new replica shirts leading to the further delays to it's launch (see: No Need To Get Shirty)

GK said:

'The Club is HUGELY disappointed over the kit issue. As far as I can determine, the problem was one of the production of the kit...the weave was not close enough so there was a real chance of snagging and/or ripping.'

'Rather than put out a substandard product, we are having to wait until November to put out a good one.'

Adding, 'Obviously Nike will make a monetary 'fix' but that does NOT help our Fans and really doesn't help the Club. This is a real disappointment...but it was NOT the Club's fault. We are not going to put a lousy kit on sale...it would simply be wrong to do so.'

One some have forgotten who have blamed the club (most are right, this is a Nike problem) is that this is also costing the club, there is no profit in shirts they can sell!

The Weave was not close enough?? total cr4p, the weave was not close on the last 2 shirts, and they would snag easily....sorry I'm a Tailor, and this sounds like a total bull**** excuse.....not that I was gonna buy the new one anyway, looks really cheap and nasty, compared to the last couple.

Very disappointing, why oh why are we always the club that just can't seem to get it right!! As for this rubbish about holding prices, WTF, you can pick it up cheaper in Soccer Sports than at the actual club so don't give us that!!

Wow!! We love to complain!! Cant we just calm down and be excited that they want to release a good quality shirt for us fans!! Cant wait for November! I will def be importing one!!
