Sidwell Glad To Be Back

Sidwell Glad To Be Back

Stevie Sidwell made his return to action in yesterday's 4-0 reserve clash against Blackpool and boy is he glad to be back.

Sidders was speaking on the Official Site following his completion of 90 minutes in yesterday's thumping win and hopefully brings an end to the achilles issue he's had since the Valencia friendly.

Commenting on the run out itself, he said:

'It was tiring, first and foremost! But it was nice to be out there. This was the first one back and I'll just knuckle down in training now and see where it goes.'

So there we go, on the back of the news that Collins didn't suffer a nose/cheek/skull fracture (depending on which report you read) meaning he'll be fit for Stoke, it's looking better for us on the injury front already.

Sidders is unlikely to feature against Stoke I would guess, but you never know.

We haven't yet seen the barsteward who destroyed us when he was at Reading, so fingers crossed given we must deal with the squad we have now until January at least, Sidwell can regain that form and give us a real boost in the middle of the park.

To be fair so everybody can laugh, I meant to set it for 11am this morning lol Not strictly talking to myself though JF, just more relieved I didn't bugger the date either and have it publish in a fortnights time PMSL

I will send two posts. One saying 5.01pm and one saying 5.03pm. I will send the 5.01 one first, but see if I can get the one that says 5.03pm to arrive first.

Would you believe it? So that is how to send 'delayed' posts. That will make for interesting reading in the future.
