Second String Taking On Blackpool

Second String Taking On Blackpool

Oops, I thought I'd already done this given the game kicked off at 2pm but apparently not. Not sure if I should be praised for checking or slapped for forgetting earlier??

Villa's reserves are taking on Blackpool currently in the second fixture of the Reserves campaign and 'caretaker' boss Sid Cowans will be out for a victory after suffering the disappointing loss to Manchester City the other week in his opening game.

All is going well, as Villa are currently 1-0 up thanks to an opening minute goal from Collins Jnr.

VILLA: Parish; Berry, Clark, Lowry, Deeney; Johnson, Hogg, Sidwell, Carruthers; Halfhuid, Collins Jr.

Subs: Williams, Barrett, Drennan, Devine, Burke.

BLACKPOOL: Halstead, Coid, Demnontagnac, Southern, Eastham, Basham, Bakhuizen, Tomsett, Euell, Husband, Phillips.

Subs: Reynolds, Dodd, Youanda, McDonald, Mitter.
