James Collins Injury Not As Bad As 1st Feared
Following on from the worrying news the other day that James Collins had picked up a bad facial injury whilst playing for Wales (see: Gulp... James Collins Picks Up Injury ) sketchy reports yesterday (Sunday) in the press were suggesting the damage is not as bad as first feared.
It was thought Collins had a fractured jaw or cheekbone or broken his nose (depending on which report you read ! LOL) but papers yesterday seem to be saying that isn't the case and that he has just suffered a black eye.
The Sunday Mirror said Aston Villa defender James Collins has been cleared of serious injury after apparently being elbowed in the face on international duty on Friday night.
And Sky Sports reported, Wales boss John Toshack has been awarded a reprieve after it was revealed that defender James Collins' injury was not as bad as first thought.
Sorry this is only a very sketchy bit of news but thought it worthy of reporting the scant details available as he is obviously so very central (gerrit?) to our defence.
