There is a Supporters Consultation Group (The 10th) being held on Saturday 18th September (Aston Villa v Bolton) For various reasons we've missed the last couple (reps being ill on the day etc) so I'll go to this one. What I need from all of the Vital Villa readers who wish to, are suggestions for which points to bring up (not player and manager related thanks!!) Just leave article comments, feedback in the forum thread or (if you must!) email me. We can submit 3 questions/ideas/suggestions. Leave feedback: Click Here

Astvil123: Aston Villa have ruled out chasing a manager who is already employed by another club, according to General Charles Krulak. The general has been quoted as saying: 'There are those who seem to think we can waltz into any club and get a manager to leave their club and come to ours. Did it ever occur to you that I - speaking as a fan and former Marine, who values loyalty - may not want a manager who would up and desert his club for additional money? I may well think such a manager might not be right for our club. I am not sure getting someone who has baled out from their club is something I'd be comfortable about.' Fieldy: Not that Kevin MacDonald had much of a headache in selecting our maximum 25 man squad, he's even left 3 places open! Article: Aston Villa's 22 Man Squad

Dan Jones: Saturday 4th September is Non-League Day and many Non-League Clubs across the country are looking forward to welcoming fans of the Premier League and Championship, who have a day off due to International Friendlies. Non League Day

Manager gossip? Here is one that might alarm you! Alan Curbishley Linked... Please God No... Or Yes?

Gordon Cowans has talked of his disappointment in the reserves for failing to find a 'creative spark', yet he has no such complaints about their effort. Club Legend, Sid, was delighted with the overall work ethic and commitment of the squad as he took charge of them for the first time following the promotion of Kevin MacDonald and Tony McAndrew to first team affairs, especially as a number of Academy stars made their first bows in the team. Stiliyan Petrov is the enemy! Noooo, not whilst captaining Villa, he's ace then... anyone in claret and blue on the pitch is ace... well, ok, anyone but Heskey (sorry, bitch mode!) But on Friday night, he is looking to spring a surprise on England for Bulgaria. Full article: Stiliyan Petrov - The Enemy On Friday!!!

Big Mac poll results... bit of a yawn now really?! Big Mac Poll Results

Thought for the day: In
English pubs, ale is ordered by pints and quarts... So in old England , when customers got
unruly, the bartender would yell at them 'Mind your pints and quarts, and settle down.'

It's where we get the phrase 'mind your P's and
Q's'
