Big Mac Poll Results

Vital Villa asked:

Big Mac?

39% went for 'yes, he'd be ideal'...

31% were mixed, wouldn't be gutted but prefer other options.

That left 30% saying 'no, we need more experience'.

Getting loads of manager suggestion polls, so will do one more...!

not sure it is worth voting Jol/Hughes/Moyes, can't see that they are available. Think I'll opt for Koeman or Zola...!
The Fear
WOW, fairly conclusive eh?

I don't trust that poll at all. How come 39% supposedly said 'yes', but so far in the current poll Kmac is on 0%

Sorry Kev, but the kids need you more.

Suppose there are two ways of looking at that as it could read two different outcomes depending on how you look at it. 70% would not grumble at having Macdonald and would see how he gets on before passing judgement or you could look at it that 61% would prefer someone else. Whoever gets it I just hope all the fans get behind them and give them a chance. As most will know I would back Macdonald for it but if Curbishley or Sven got it they would have my backing as well. I see Graham Taylor has now come out backing Macdonald for the job. There seems a lot of people inside football going for Macdonald which I think says a lot.

I amongst my friends appear to be the only one who wants McDonald. I know the results have been *****e but I appreaciate we pass the ball more/quicker and shorter. The players to me appear to be not used to this but I am sure after time it will work. Just my humble opinion, but I am sure our style of play will change under Mac, and this will be for the better. We might not get 6th year but in time we will kick on. Under O'Neil we were predictable.
Dead Souls
Dead Souls 6th is fine this year. Id be proud to achieve that with us not being an anti-football club such as man city throwin there cash around. They couldnt even achieve 7th without money so that shows who the better club is.

The better clubs are built on different members of staff. Now, given the set of circumstances under which KM took over the team, he has done very well indeed. He obviously has the respect of the players because of his position at the club for the last number of years. However, I am convinced his is a preparation role. Reserves striving to get into the first team squad is all important and he has been very successful in that role. But, in my opinion, he hasn't quite got the experience needed for the cut and thrust of 38 PL games, plus all other comps. Glensider, you are right. This is a great club, still with great potential and the manager who gets the position should always remember it, otherwise try somewhere else.

Houllier as manager, KMac as assitant (Basically like a joing management due to houliliers health) Sven as director of footbal w.e its called...Sounds good.
P.Avfc
Scrap that, Houllier as director of football with KMac as a first team coach assisting the manager and Houllier and put a new manager in place Koeman/Curbishley...That would be a good combination. And the guardian and daily mail have reported that might be the case.

I'm logged in but my votes never adjust the results .
