Reserves Go For 4th Consecutive League Title

Aston Villa's reserve side step back into action tonight against Manchester City.

The first reserve fixture of the new season takes place at Hyde United's Ewen Fields and kicks off at 7pm.

Live commentary and the text commentary feature will be available on the Official Site.

Ciaran Clark will again skipper the second string, and as is our forte, there is a very youthful feel to the squad again.

Parish, Berry, Clark, Baker, Lowry, Lichaj, Carruthers, Hogg, Johnson, Burke, Collins Jnr.

Cameron, Siegrist, Devine, Taylor, Williams.

Following the U18's kicking off their campaign earlier against Blackburn Rovers, Graham Burke has been promoted up to start after bagging the winner in that match.

With Kevin MacDonald and Tony McAndrew on first team duties, Gordon Cowans leads the lads out tonight.

A big moment for a club legend, and I'm sure I'm not alone in wishing him well for his new role (even if it may only be temporary for the time being).
