I would say the link is total pants though (sorry to reign on the parade!) as we don't have a manager so how can we possibly be targetting signings?
Difficult one, the 'club' could make signings but..... ?
Anyway... Darren Lewis at The Mirror has us, along with Liverpool, West Bromwich Albion, Real Zaragoza and Hercules (I think that is Primera Liga club not our co-ed or indeed Villa mascott) apparently after 32-year-old Juventus striker David Trezeguet. Hogwash? I suspect so.

Yep, can't see us getting anything atm, whilst Blues come out today and announce an improved offer for N'Zogbia and 3 more deals potentially coming off. Whilst I'm not a fan of him, this is just giving our competitors the chance to catch up with us, it's the old say - if you aren't building your not moving forward, simply standing still is an admission that we're going backwards! And as for Heskey being a 'good' player as KM said, WTF is he on about, he's deadwood and he needs selling whilst someone's willing to pay, how is it only 40,000 are able to see this and our 'manager' is blinded, the man must have some sort of superhuman power blinding the coaching team!!
