I didn't see the game or hear any commentary but there must be a reason that NRC got 20%. Did he deserve it? I would like to see the best of him this season if he's going to run down his contract. If it's good enough (which he's capable of) I'd not argue to a new contract.

Albrighton easily deserved MOTM, and andy some people might say he was poor but if they watched him throughout the game especially first half he battled for the ball, his passing was fine and he had a few decent runs, he tired as the game went on though, But to your question i say he probably did deserve to get 20% due to the fact i cant see anyone else in the line up who did better really, you could argue bannan with his goal, or maybe beye. We should keep reo as he is a good squad member and will be usefull wheneva called upon.

I thought NRC had a great game. Caused Rapid problems in the middle, occasionally even got forward. He was even taking players on and beating them. His distribution was good too. But more than anything he broke up the Rapid midfield well. But Albrighton was for me the MOTM too. Bannan also had a great game, not to mention a very well taken goal. And of course, Guzan with 3 game saving saves!

NRC did ok only is his distribution and shooting he might do well with ireland i think

NRC had a good game I thought, and I have to admit that I have been far from his biggest fan in the past. He certainly did enough to come into serious consideration for Sunday's encounter at St James Park, when personally I'd be inclined to start him, alongside Stephen Ireland. I think we'll need the bite that he offers in our fairly lightweight midfield, and will prove useful this season, particularly in the away games where presumably we wont be so gung-ho. As for the Rapid Vienna game, and the 'Man of the Match' award, yes it has to go to young Marc Albrighton, very definitely the flavour of the month, and another very encouraging display.
