Lawro Says Newcastle Win - Mystic Mug Disagrees!

Lawro Says Newcastle Win - Mystic Mug Disagrees!

Ok, so Lawro and Mystic Mug are both one all (neither with the right score but both correct with Villa win)

What next?

Villa travel to Newcastle United and Lawro says

'I expect them to give Aston Villa a physical battering, especially with Andy Carroll leading the attack.'

Adding, 'I know Kevin McDonald well from our days together at Liverpool and I wonder if his relative lack of managerial experience could harm his chances of getting the Villa job on a full-time basis. It is going to be an interesting season for Villa. They have just signed midfielder Stephen Ireland from Manchester City - a good buy, in my opinion - but have they finished selling players?'

And predicts 2-1 to the Geordies.

Mystic Mug thinks Lawro is having a giraffe and says a nice tight 1-0 away win for the Villa boys.

Mark Lawrenson hasn't got a clue what he's on about. 2-1 to the mighty claret and blues. Wont be easy though, they'll be well up for it, and with 50,000 geordies roaring them on, it should be a pretty red-hot atmosphere. Good to be back on our travels again, plus its one of my personal favourite away jaunts of the season. Roll on Sunday. Got to be a better Villa performance than it was the last time we were up there. What a long, miserable, drive home that was.

what makes me laugh is anyone from any team mentions Lawro and they all say he has something against their team. I see it loads when 'policing/approving' article comments across the network! Pundits are pundits though, he's ok!

Big fan of Mark 'Kiss of Death' Lawro. It could have been worse, he could've BACKED the Villa.

The match of the day boys think MON is a genius and so Lawro can't accept that Villa might do all right now MON has left. What other explanation could there possibly be for predicting a Villa loss ? No Lawro my friend, you are a nitwit. Villa to play Coker to frustrate them for 20mins before we rip them up. 3-1 to the Villa
