lovely bright start from villa, playing on the floor, great goal and confidence boosting save from Guzan + crucial away goal. Loving it!
The Fear
well thats why i'm not the manager, great start

NRC has been crap, Davies needs to wake up and how an interest.

Reasonable 45 (well the 30 I've seen), great to see Bannan on the scoresheet but weak point is definitely defence. Some proving what we knew already, but even this 11 can get better I think.

Good first 20mins but been poor since. Noone is really looking too good apart from albrighton and reo-coker(done alot wrong, but also won alot of balls, but better than majority), bannan looks decent but he wont make an impact like albrighton has. Delfouneso coming on now so hopefully he gonna add something different.

some of these players are really stepping up a good few levels all in one go. With the youth we have to have patience, they aren't going to be the finished product straight off. Also Davies hasn't played much footie in a year or so apart from reserves. NRC... yup, thought he'd lead the line better but again, he hasn't had that much footie. I'd be happy 1-1 - away goal and take them at home!
The Fear
If Spurs make 8 changes they can bring in; Kracjar, Bassong, Pavluchenko, Keane, Jenas, Kaboul, O'Hara.. Same with Liverpool, man City, arguably Everton. Some good performances tonight and a good result, but I think this game has exposed our squad rather than given me more faith in it.

Its too early to panic and say we dont have the squad. I thought all things considered they where Ok, big night for them, we need to see these names a few more times before making a call. 1 thing is for sure, alby is ready for it, i thought his first touch and control was sensational again tonight. We could be on to a Gem with him. K Mac is apparently set for talks with Randy to tr and bring in some new faces.
