Aston Villa Transfer Talk - Sidwell To Baggies?

The Daily Mail claim that Villa are after 22-year-old Polish international winger Kamil Grosicki who currently plays for Jagiellonia Bialystok.

He is apparently rated at around £600k

James Nursey at The Mirror has a link for Steve Sidwell to the Baggies. According to the report Villa aren't that keen on sending another of our players to local rivals West Bromwich Albion after Nicky Shorey made the move last month.

And that appears to be that so far today! Yawn!

Oh, the Milner/Ireland move should be official today if all the medicals and personal term talks have gone to plan.

Jeez let Sidwell go. When Ireland lands he's got no hope with us this season.

I think the baggies would be a good move for sidwell. Good luck to him if he goes. i will always remember the 'assist' he supplied last season when warming up. I've got no problem with us selling to them. i'd love to see them with blues & wolves stay up. you can't match beating the other local clubs. love it. Plus we won't have room in the midfeild with ireland, delph & hokey pushing for places.

Disagree. Let Reo-Coker go. Keep Sidwell as a squad player.

Where is the rest of the £18m going?

I think we let him go, he's on decent wages and he's not going to get a look in unless he shows a massive turn around in form and performance. With Petrov, Ireland, Reo Coker and Delph battling for places and Bannan, Hogg and Osbourne from the reserves it's worth moving him on as we have cover.

Let him go! It's not like by giving them Shorey and Sidwell we're strengthening them to challenge us, ha.

Talking to a Polish work colleague about Kamil Grosicki, he reckons he was the mutts nuts at Legia but had a gambling addiction and had to go into rehab etc, hence the move away from Poland to another club.

i agree P.Avfc Reo is miles better than Sidwell, i cant believe people even debate it lol lets be honest against Liverpool last season Reo played Brill and won penalty for us i cant remember a performance Sidders did that for us. ( APART from the 2 own goals he scored for blackburn and ODENSE in europe)!
