80% Say Yes to Kevin MacDonald

Our last poll asked:

Kevin MacDonald for boss?

Blimey.

80% said yes.

That is a clear result if ever I saw one.

I am more yes than no, I would think it intriguing, but I hope the decision isn't rushed, there are a few reservations about bringing in players etc aren't there? Then again, this is Aston Villa, that + £ would be enough to attract any player, MacDonald appears to have the endorsement of other players at Villa (Petrov especially judging by his comments) and Big Mac has played at the top level for Liverpool in their double winning year.

15% were undecided and .... you do the maths.... said no.

Its a no lose situation, no great managers currently available, all the players know him and trust him and by the looks of saturday would want to play for him so it offers minimal disruption.

Tough choice on the current poll ... I went for "Not bothered, I support Villa" ... although i think the "Gutted, he'll regret it" is also very true.

Well done to all concerned with the West Ham game. Great result. Don't let's go overboard though. Kevin M is a well-known face at VP and therefore it was no great surprise that the boys gave 110% for him. Good that the captaina endorses him as well. But this league is all about 38 games and having the tactical nous to be able to survive and succeed over that period of time. Kevin said something in an interview after last Saturday's game that we are three points closer to safety. Those are the words of a level-headed man, and a man to be admired. Only time will tell if he really has the ability to manage a Premier League team. I hope so.
