Should we keep Emile Heskey?

Should we keep Emile Heskey?

Perhaps, unsurprisingly the former England forward is wanted out by the majority.

86% voted for us to sell Emile Heskey, with only 14% believing he should remain at the club.

Heskey has struggled to win the fans over during his time at Villa Park, most see no benefit to having him in the side at all, though a few fans can see why Martin O'Neill brought the former Liverpool man to the club.

The results are not surprising however as Emile is not getting any younger, and although he has had 1 or 2 seasons in his career when he has hit the goal trail, he has never been prolific. He has recently retired from the International stage after a steady if not underwhelming England Career.

I quite like Emile, think he always puts in his all, but I personally think it might be time for us to look at other options, with him as 3rd choice last season - it would be nice to see Nathan Delfouneso or Andreas Weimann given a go instead. That said I think we might be seeing Robbie Keane's arrival in the near future.

I think he's staying, partly because the new kit marketing, he's one of those pictures, sporting the new kit.... I haven't seen a James Milner pic.... just a bit of old fashioned detective work.
