Ashley Young Happy To Stay At Villa

Ashley Young Happy To Stay At Villa

Makes for nice reading this, especially with all the James Milner to Manchester City speculation.

Ashley Young who scored a great goal against Peterborough last night, told Sky Sports:

'If the contract talks are put forward to me, then of course I will sit down and talk. I have enjoyed my time here, I have learnt a lot and I think I have a lot more learning to do under the manager.'

Adding, 'They are the club that gave me my chance. Hopefully I can build on that and we will see what happens.'

Happy days...! We asked recently which of the young three (Ashley Young, Gabby Agbonlahor and James Milner) would you LEAST like to leave and Ash came out the winner. Full results: Click Here

Should be a great season for Ashley, looking forward to see yet more progression as the season kicks off.

I think he's going to have a great season. This is good news, we need exciting players like him. Certainly sends a buzz around when he gets the ball.

What a refreshing change to the attitude from many "career" "mercenaries" of today. And I thik with this mind set he will prosper personally and Villa will too!
