Siegrist Eyes Minty Loan Spell

Benjamin Siegrist has been allowed to move to the Lamb to take part in two of Tamworth's pre season games with the view of securing a season long loan spell.

The Lambs General Secretary Rod Hadly told Radio WM that Siegrist and Villa had offers on the table from 'another' Premier League side and a host of Championship teams following Benji's U17 World Cup exploits with Switzerland, and his prize of both a World Cup winners medal but also taking the Golden Glove in the competition.

Siegrist has made quite a name for himself this season with his international performances and his performances for our Academy so it's no surprise at all that many have been keeping tabs on him....although the Premiership club link is slightly boggling.

Siegrist will be in the Tamworth side for the Leamington and Rubgy matches and then if all works out ok it is expected he will be there until the end of the season gaining valuable experience.

A very good opportunity for Benji, and I'm sure he'll do well.
