Aston Villa are currently working to bring supporters a new ticketing exchange service for the 2010-11 season which will continue to give season card holders the opportunity to sell your seat for games you are unable to attend - ensuring you don't miss out. The club's partnership with last season's ticket exchange providers, Seat Exchange has now expired. However, the club will be announcing a new ticketing partnership soon for the forthcoming campaign. Stay tuned to www.avfc.co.uk for full details.

As mentioned on Vital Villa yesterday, according to the agent of Cho Yong-hyung, Aston Villa are keeping tabs on the 26 yr old South Korean international. The report and quotes are almost every where today, but it's simply hard to not see it as the agent just talking up interest for his client. Villa Promo for events at Villa Park this summer: Villa Events Including Legends Night

A bit of a tongue in cheek poll was asked by villan444 as we all suffer the boredom of the close season! The Vital Villa member asked: Why isn't MON a studio guest for the World Cup? Results... + John Carew in or out?

Fieldy: Ok I know this would've been far better had I been able to use 'The Year of the Frog' given it's an interview by Steve Froggatt but oh well maybe next time... Ex Villa winger Froggy believes that we will see the best from £12 million Stewart Downing next season because he'll be spurred on by missing out on England's World Cup glor....disappointment. Full article: Stewart Downing's Season

Fieldy: A source close to John Carew has indicated that he will hopefully meet with Martin O'Neill in the next few weeks to clarify his future. The Hulk has only one year left on his current contract, and like all players at the club, future contract negotiations were put on hold until the summer. If a new contract cannot be agreed it's more likely Carew would leave on a free in 12 months as it's unlikely we could demand much of a fee for him, and of course any potential sale 'should' be tied to a replacement coming in first as we are already woefully thin upfront. The club have announced that due to popular demand, they have released a limited number of seats on the Mini EPS, allowing season tickets to be brought in two separate payments. The scheme is strictly first come first serve, and will be available from Monday July 5. Details: Click Here

Fieldy: Both Emile Heskey and James Milner have spoken following the 'insert your own adjective' match against Germany yesterday. As the plethora of excuses are wheeled out to explain the diabolical tournament we all suffered, both players, Emile especially, distanced themselves from the 'French response'. Interesting debate going on in the forum and as it is all quiet on the news front at the moment, I thought I would open it up for the front page: Been arguing / debating with Fieldy by email ... Have Villa ever bought a 'wow' signing? I would say Collymore was the closest? (It didn't work out, baggage that followed spoilt it, but many were very excited at his potential and his reputation, it wasn't a cheap signing and should have been perfect) Full details and link to forum debate: WOW Players - Have Villa Ever Signed One?
