James Milner - England's Man Of The Match

Vital Villa asked in our last poll:

England v Slovenia Man Of The Match

Controversy reigned as 50% voted for James Milner whilst the other 50% voted for James Milner.

Tend to agree, James Milner was THE man of the match, in fact he was head and shoulders above the rest of the players on the pitch in my ever so humble opinion.

Well done James, now do that against the Germans!

(I think the sun has got to me to be honest, also to Villan444, just look at our latest poll to see why!)

Amazing, Fear; no mention of Spuds in the headline and here they are. Mind you, 'Arry did sing Jimmie's praises the other day, so they probably think that he's as good as a Spud player already!

Red scouse think he's the new Gerrard when Stevie Me goes off to Madrid. They're not wrong, except he'll either by at City, or stay with the Villa. We need a marque signing methinks or we're into another Barry balls up. Get yer finger out MON you dob-head.

a decent shout, if for no other reason that the way he bounced back after being subbed on the half hour against the USA. Although I would have probably opted for either terry or Ashley cole, the fact that I dont like either as people means I will happily go with JM.
