Well, short of laughing at the over all performance from apparently the best players in England, there's not much to really talk about tonight.
Heskey was our lone representative of the claret and blue tonight, and as before he did all you expect from him.
Not quite Man of the Match this time, but again won in the air all you expected him to, tracked back into defence and chased the lost causes from the best midfielders in the Country and given his one real chance hit it against the defender instead of finding the target - let alone the net.
He at least put the effort in though, Beckham was more animated from the dug out then most of our stars again, although credit where it's due, Gerrard was far better this time round.
Sadly Rooney was even worse, Lampard seems to be on a personal mission to prove me right - he's shite at International level and offers even less than my left sock would if placed on the pitch and quite frankly I won't even pass comment on Lennon or SWP, they made Frankie almost look conference level.
The question as always is, why won't Capello and why won't England managers in general drop the overhyped wastes of space and put on players who would at least show passion.
Rooney, Lampard, Carragher, Lennon, SWP, Defoe all should've been no where near the pitch tonight yet they are the favoured few. Gerrard escapes by actually putting the effort in tonight.
Rooney sounded like he commented as he walked off the pitch...'nice to hear your supporters boo you....way to feel supported.'
After that performance where he just gave up, maybe he should look at himself and whether it was anger, passion, or frustration that he knew tonight he was useless, surely by now he should know to act his age and realise that those supporters have spent thousands to see him and his millionaire colleagues put in two performances so far that you wouldn't even expect from amatuers or schoolboys.
Disgraceful performance from most yet again, and disgraceful behaviour to cap it off.
It's a shame there are Villa representatives in the squad, the last two games have reminded me why I gave up bothering with International football.
