Vital Spurs ( Click Here ) have an article on David Bentley saying he is unsure of his Spurs future. I heard a whisper, from a man talking to his mates dog, that Villa have an interest here. I'll say no more. Mainly because there is no more to say!
Nicky Shorey is being linked with a £2.5million move to Nottingham Forest where he played on loan last season. I was told similar but at a much lower price. Time will tell! He certainly seemed to impress Forest fans last season from what I read on Vital Forest + conversations with their editor. Then again, I'm in the minority as a Villa fan thinking he was ok for us when played as well, he always got forward at least!
Why are Spurs and Villa always linked to the same players?!? In The Mirror today it is claimed that Villa will do battle with the Spuds for £12million rated Everton and South Africa international Steven Pienaar.
Apparently there is a contract dispute with Everton and both Villa and Spurs hope to grab the 28-year-old. Another report suggest that Arsenal are also interested.

If Cl is the decider, how expensive was our inability to get it last season? Would Milner be staying if we were there? Big loss caused a few too many home draws.

yup, big loss these days, think you are right to question re: Milner, if we had CL footie I don't think any would look to leave and that includes Barry last summer. Hey ho, we aren't the only club in that situation I guess, just a shame if not for a natural finisher like Bent last season, it could have been us!
