Would You Sell Gabriel Agbonlahor?

Would You Sell Gabriel Agbonlahor?

Vital Villa asked in our last poll:

Would you sell Gabby?

Seems most wouldn't as 55% voted no.

gabby run with ball

18% said they'd let him go for £15-20million (beat cheap that?!?!) Another 18% for £20-25million.

9% said they would only sell him if the offer was £25million or over.

Our latest poll asks how many players you think Villa will get this summer (I say get instead of buy as there are a few available on a free like Martin Petrov from Manchester City and even a couple from Chelsea with Joe Cole and Michael Ballack)

I did hear a few months ago from an ex Villa player that we were keeping tabs on the situation with Joe Cole's contract at Chelsea and had expressed a serious interest to talk to him if a new contract wasn't signed at Chelsea. At that stage though we were well fancied for the CL. I think Martin Petrov would be a decent addition. Tuncay? Doubt it, we weren't interested last time. Don't know much about the Anderlecht lad, but he sounds the type of player we need. Keane? If the price is right, £5m tops. Ireland would be a good bet, and either Onoura or Richards. I think we do need one 'wow' signing, especially if we lose JM.

I think Spurs is the likely destination for Cole, given his previous experiences with Harry + their Champions league position. Also they're probably willing to pay higher wages than us to bring in key personel in order to compete at CL level. Would like to see him here but unlikely I think. Petrov is more realistic.
