Milner Concern

James Milner was withdrawn from training today following a temperature, sparking additional concerns that there is a bug travelling through the England camp.

Following the news that Upson had succumbed to a bug last week, Milner going down with a temperature has got peoples concerns raised again although it must be said the FA have insisted his removal from training was simply a precautionary measure and that he will be assessed again tomorrow ahead of training but nobody is truly expecting any complications.

Can't really see a simple bug keeping Chuck Norris' nemesis from the World Cup opener against the United States next Saturday, especially as he's already laid out his plans for the tournament.

Speaking to the E&S Milner has already said that they are their to win it, and wouldn't even take the success of reaching the semi's:

'Would we take the semi finals? No, I don't think so. We've got a great squad and it's up to us to show how good we are.

'The world is watching.'

Come on Milly, sort yourself out man. No time for sniffles and shivers, aches and pains, you've got World Cup glory to lead us to. Following that you've got to get your rear end back to dear old Brummagem B6 rather sharpish, and sign this new four year extended deal that those nice men, Mr Lerner and Mr O'Neill, have prepared for you. We'll then allow you a couple of days off to suffer/recover from a cold/a bug/a virus whatever, then its back to Bodymoor Heath to begin pre-season training. So, what I'm saying Milly, is that there's no time for you to be ill.
