Villa 2009/2010 Season Review DVD Out

Relive our tremendous 2009-10 campaign with the new season review DVD, out in Villa Stores this Thursday.

Martin O'Neill led Villa to a remarkable sixth place finish above the likes of Liverpool and Everton and the claret and blue troops also reached Wembley twice.

Villa battled with the likes of Manchester City and Tottenham for the Champions League spot all season.

The terrific Barclays Premier League campaign included a first win at Old Trafford in over a quarter of a century, a comprehensive win at Anfield, a home victory over eventual champions Chelsea and a derby double over Birmingham City.

Villa finished with European qualification for a third straight year, clocking up, in the process, the club's highest points tally since the Premier League was reduced to 20 teams.

Villa also scorched their way to the Carling Cup final and FA Cup semi-final.

The thrilling run to the showpiece Wembley final included a 10 goal semi-final second leg cracker against Blackburn at Villa Park - a scintillating night that will be talked about for years.

The first trip to Wembley in a decade was quickly followed by a return to the arch six weeks later in the last four of the FA Cup against Chelsea.
