Some decent players here espeically the falcao, ireland, hleb and parker rumours. I really dont think we need to go over the top this year, if randy can give us 20m from out his own pocket we should be fine, we will get around 18m for fringe players such as young, davies, sidwell, carew, harewood well not fringe players but you get the picture. We probably need a rb if young goes and put cuellar cb or back up, adam matthews or miguel from valencia are good shouts but probably sit on the bench all season. parker would be someone who could replace petrov and if we can keep milner and young id would be a decent midfield. We should spend all our sales money on a quaility striker but we will get keane or cole boreee!!! The team i WOULD like for next year would be: Frediel, Miguel/Matthews, Collins, Dunne, Warnock, Young, Milner, Parker, Downing/Benayoun?/Hleb?, Agbonlahor, ????

I don't know about getting real, but how difficult is it for people to debate the points without taking pot shots at the posters?

i am a villan, mon will always have a big centre forward plus with two wingers in the side putting in crosses all day you need a centre forward plus cole is better on the floor than heskey and carew and quicker for keane to change things a bit and go 451 keane just droping off he is still a clever footballer

bells are rining, Cole is no differnt to heskey he is just younger and more skillfull and in all fairness carew is much better than both of them so we wont be moving forward with a signing like carlton cole i would rather have bobby zamora personally, also keane is a good footballer but not as good as he was and there is much better out there and alot younger, 10m, 15m which is being tipped to be the fee will be an extremely bad piece of buisness just ask the spurs fans and btw my last comment was to mike_field not you bells are ringing

I'm not 'taking a potshot' at anyone its good to debate, I just feel we will be linked with every player in the world in the next 2 months. MON has made some bad buys but he's made some good ones too. We need to remember if we keep Milly and Ashley our budget may not be too lofty so unfortunately our expectations need to be adjusted to.

Yeah true but if lerner doesnt give us enough funds id try and offload young to city for 20m + swp and that would be a great deal as it wouldnt affect our team too much and give us money to go buy a GOOD striker we need
