Poll Results - Which Striker Do You Want At Villa?

PLEASE vote for me (and spread the word to mates etc!) Click Here

Our poll yesterday, suggested by johnproche (I reckon it is Martin O'Neill looking for advice you know?!??!) asked:

Which striker to partner Gabby (who is a given)

His assumption, as you can see, what that Gabby Agbonlahor will continue to be the first choice striker under MON so who would you like to see partner him?

The options given didn't satisfy 28% of you, as you voted a.n.ohter (or is that some foreign striker I don't know of?!)

Next up was Craig Bellamy with 20%

Our very own Nathan Delfouneso registered high with 13%, I'd have thought he is still a season or two away from being a regular though surely? I wouldn't be shocked to see him have a loan this season coming - which if memory servers me right, he said he'd be interested in to gain first team experience.

Wolves Kevin Doyle got 10% and John Carew, linked to Fulham, 9%

The one that I think will come to be honest, Robbie Keane got 7%

That left:

Bobby Zamora 6%
Kenwyne Jones 4%
Carlton Cole 3%
Emile Heskey 0%
Yakubu Aiyegbeni 0%

Talking about Emile Heskey, he has been linked once again with a move to Stoke.

Chopra looked tidy in the playoff final...

I'd like to see Gabby and The Fonz up front, I think it would frighten the Bejaysus out of defenders. I really want to see Fonz next season, he's 19, which is old enough, if he's as good as a lot of people say he is, then he should play, I haven't seen enough from him yet to justify the hype.

Radamel Falcao is my favourite link so far he would be a step up compared to 'carlton cole and robbie keane' and we should try and go in for either 'Forlan' or 'Huntelaar' those 3 would be the striker we need but maybe im asking too much? i think that we will end up gettin keane, cole or beckford which id be dissapointed with but who knows how they will be for us ayy??

Berbatov...(if not Keane (but no more than £7m))...Carew to stay along with Gabby and Fonz. IF United are serious about JM, and IF we are persuaded to sell I would take Berbatov and Carrick for him, or from Citeh Bellamy, Ireland and Richards rather than cash. Still rather keep Milner though.
