Friday's press transfer talk, certainly looks like we'll have a good turnover of players this summer, should be interesting! Hope we get replacements before offloading this time I must admit.

The Daily Mail are linking Fulham with more of our players after recent press claims suggested that Roy Hodgson was interested in John Carew.

Today's report say that Fulham want 25-year-old defender Curtis Davies who joined Villa from the Baggies for around £8million. This report claims we'd accept around £5million to get him off the books, not sure they'll want to make a loss on a young player like that though?

The Daily Mail also claim that Fulham would like to purchase Steve Sidwell and Nicky Shorey who both have just one year left on their contracts.

The Daily Mail say that Habib Beye will be sold this summer. No shock there really is there?

The Daily Star are again linking Villa to Spurs striker Robbie Keane, who spent half of last season blasting the goals in at Celtic. Everton and Wolves are also said to be interested.

The report also claims that Jermaine Jenas who has been out of action since February with a groin injury, will be sold. Villa were linked with the midfielder last summer and in the January transfer window.

26-year-old midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker won't be forced out of Villa and will sit out the remaining year of his contract unless an ambitious club, preferably it seems back down South, come in for him. In a report by James Nursey in The Mirror it is claimed that both Stoke and Blackburn Rovers are interested.

Nursey also points out that much like Nigel Hokey Cokey, who cost £7.5million from West Ham, both Steve Sidwell and Nicky Shorey also only have one year left on their contracts which will surely mean if they are allowed to leave, they will go cheaper than would usually be the case?

The Mirror also claim that West Ham want one of our best players, Luke Young who is another who appears to be on his way out.

Interesting that the Daily Record say that Rangers striker Kris Boyd who can leave on a free this summer is being chased by seven clubs but don't name Villa?! We were linked in January if you remember. They say that Birmingham, Wolves, Wigan, Newcastle, Middlesbrough, Bursaspor or Ankaragucu are all after him. Free and prolific? Albeit in the SPL I admit. Hmmm?

So 7 out and 3 in? That should secure us 6th again next season. Surely we need to adding numbers to our already paper thin squad. That said MON rarely uses any of the squad perhaps it is not such as bad shout.... Hmm....

What do mean no surprise, the fact that someone would be willing to pay money for Habib Beye is absolutely astounding!!!!
