Sunday's Aston Villa Press Transfer Talk Round Up!

Quite a few of the press links are of players going outwards, I think that makes sense to be honest, we've had the same manager for four seasons, a fifth coming up and a turnover will happen naturally with players he fancied and who haven't made the impact he'd hoped or aren't getting on at Villa for whatever reason.

The latest press link outwards is for Steve Sidwell. The former Reading and Chelsea man really hasn't made an impact and according to a report in the News Of The World the midfielder is Fulham bound. Villa have apparently signalled that they would be willing to sell the player who is commuting from London for training and matches and West Ham are also an option.

Hey ho. He looked a good signing when he joined us but apart from a great debut goal v Wigan (away) he really hasn't settled and for the good of his career he does need to move on I would think.

Columbian striker anyone? Don't mind if I do! The Daily Star say that Martin O'Neill wants Porto`s Colombian striker Radamel Falcao. This link was first mentioned last week, the striker has 23 goals in 27 games and Porto apparently need to recoup some money this summer with the 24-year-old being a likely exit. Spurs are also said to be interested. The one bit I haven't read before is Liverpool apparently tried to get him last season but Porto beat them to his signature.

Hang on. The Daily Star say MON wants that player? In another report they say that MON is going. Make up your minds guys! (MON to Liverpool, Slaven Bilic or Steve McClaren on Villa's radar: Click Here )

He plays in a foreign league so mon has never heard of him so nope. He can score goals so nope. He doesn't play right back so nope. He is being discussed as a possible target so nope. Can't see him ever coming here with MON in charge...
