Wilfred Bouma To Exit Villa Park In The Summer?

Wilfred Bouma To Exit Villa Park In The Summer?

There has been a rumour for a while and I wanted to wait until there was a report somewhere before mentioning it, I've done well not to be sued (despite a few threats!) over the years and didn't want to change that record!

Anyway, there have been rumours that Wilfred Bouma will make an announcement on his future shortly. Some said it was to move on, others to retire. My info was to move on and that (not passing this off as fact, I can't as I don't know 100%) he had wanted to go out on loan to get first team football and fitness - if you remember Nottingham Forest were linked - and was refused.

A report in the Birmingham Mail by Matthew Kendrick, a man with very bad judgement when it comes to jokes it has to be said (he likes mine!) saying that Wilf is looking to move on at the end of the season.

There will be a few moving this summer I would imagine?

Indeed. I would be unhappy to see him simply move on and unhappy for entirely different reasons to see him retire. Iv'e always liked Fredie

Great shame indeed --- and off on a free, so no money for replacement left back......
