not sure JT. Wouldn't think the numbers would be particularly high though.

Good Luck to the young Villans. They face a tough task to overcome a strong Chelsea team, a team that impressed me very much in the first leg at Villa Park, but they overcame the odds to win at St James Park in second leg of the semi-final, so there's no doubting that they have the talent and ability in the ranks to bring the trophy back to Villa Park.

It's only live on Chelsea TV, not on the FA site as was thought. Well I say that, but it's the only official stream if truth be told. And that's all I'll say on the matter lol

No coverage on the FA site. If you lot want a "stream" of water, pm me from the forums. You'll not go thirsty, I promise you. :) HT- Villa are 1-0, after a half that has been dominated by Chelsea, with a toothless attack unfortunately. Villa are pressing really well and high up the field and took their chance beautifully. A superb headed goal by the forward. The defence has to improve, though- The Chelsea lads seem to cut through it too easily!

More than 10,000 tickets have been sold for the match, which must be some sort of record.. lol. Decent Villa crowd too, I could guess maybe 200?

I don't know what changed Tr1 as I like many others though the FA would have coverage of both, but apparently not.

12,500- official count. :) Well played lads, 2-1 is a fair score, I'd say. You lot played well, but I think Chelsea were on a different plane offensively. Good game and I think the ref was a villain. He gave nearly 10 minutes of ET, excluding the injury to Kaby! :)

Watch out for Josh McEahran fellas, he's on a different planet skill wise.

Liked the look of him, and Clifford. Nice to know we have good lads coming through, but over the two legs the right team won I'm distraught to say lol

JT_daniel - that may be a record for Chelsea but in 1972 40,000 watched Villa - Birmingham in the Youth Cup semi over 2 legs. I know as I was at both games. Couldn't get enough of Villa in those days. We went on to win the cup, beating Liverpool in the final. Brian Little, John Gidman, Jake Findlay, Bobby MacDonald..............what memories
