Lawro Says Villa Loss & Then Insults Villa Fans!
Lawro has Manchester City beat Villa this weekend with a 2-1 prediction.
The BBC pundit says 'I'll go for City to edge this one - the only reason I'm hesitant is they have been a bit nervy in defence recently. They played for a point against Manchester United, when they lost to a last-minute goal, and definitely last week when they drew at Arsenal. They need to get back on the winning trail and they can put Villa out of the race for fourth place in this game, so it will be tight.'
And on Villa: 'Villa's Richard Dunne will be going back to his old club with a real feeling that he was cast aside earlier than necessary. The problem for Villa is that decisions change games, and that in turn can change a season - the decision not to send off Manchester United's Nemanja Vidic in the Carling Cup final was a massive one that went against them, and it shows how marginal things can be. Villa have got better year on year, which is all you can ask for, but their supporters think they have got a divine right to trophies, which is not the case - just ask Arsenal, who are a better team than Villa.'
Where the hell does this man get it in his de-mustached head that Villa fans think it is our divine right to win silverware? We've won nothing since f***ing 1996 for goodness sake, we still turn up in major numbers and then we get that thrown at us? Talk about throwing things, I notice Fulham have made the final of the Europa Cup, nice to see one English club and manager take the competition seriously. Just think, ..... no, I best not..... I could only say that if it was David O'Leary or another manager, silly me.

My interview on Vital Man City (still waiting for their answers to put up on Vital Villa) where I say they might well put the last nail in the coffin of the Premier League. Me being over dramatic? Surely not!?!? :o) VMC Eight Deadly Sins: Q&A With A Villain (sic)
Martin O'Neill says: 'We have to win the game. There is no doubt about that.' Adding 'We have two games, City have three and the only thing we were able to do by winning last week is confirm we will finish seventh in the league and have European football again. Anything else after that would be worth aiming for in the next couple of games.' Full preview by MON on the official site: www.avfc.co.uk
