Milner Thrilled With PFA Award

Well he would be really wouldn't he, us lot certainly are so it would be a bit strange if he couldn't care less.

Speaking on the Official Site this morning after collecting the PFA Young Player of the Year trophy last night, Milner described the experience as 'brilliant' and was quick to praise and thank both his family but also the management team at the club for their support.

'Just look at the players who have won it over the years.'

Before adding that it made it even more sweeter knowing it is a trophy that fellow professionals vote on.

'To receive it is obviously fantastic, there are so many top players about so to be voted the best, I can't really describe it, it's brilliant.'

Milner is also adamant that he plans to kick on further and keep improving, that's not really a comment I need to add actually because you'd expect nothing less from the man would you.

Well done again James. Thoroughly deserved.
