Unoial Villa News...

Congratulations to Villa for gaining a place in Europe once again for next season. Villa are now guaranteed a place in the Interflora or Europa League, whatever they are calling it next time around, making it a the third season in a row. Villa have also beaten their previous points tally in the Premier League (62 was our record before I believe?) with 64 points and two games left to play.

The official site have an apology up at the moment: We would like to apologise for problems with the official website this afternoon. (Sunday 25/04) These were due to technical issues beyond our control.

Congratulations to Villa's Head Groundsman, Jonathan Calderwood, who has picked up the Premier League Groundsman of the Year Award. I'm sure the last few seasons this was won by the Arsenal groundsman, so great to grab it for Villa Park which lets be honest, has been supreme this season and most of the previous ones.

Martin O'Neill has admitted that Fabian Delph was obviously down in the dumps after finding out he'd been out of action for 8 odd months, but he doesn't believe it will take him long to bounce back. Full article: O'Neill Has High Hopes For Delph
